Proboscis Monkeys Information Report - Roman


Introduction

The Proboscis Monkey (Nasalis Larvatus) is a species of monkey with big noses, and they communicate through it whenever other Monkeys need to be alert.


Diet and Habitat

These guys munch through unripe fruits and seeds. They mostly live in the Jungles of Borneo and can find them near swamps, coastal mangroves, a place with shallow water and trees planted in the water where you can also find Crocodiles lurking in the water. 


Weight, Height and more

The males can be up to 50 pounds whilst the females can go up to 40-45 pounds, both can grow up to 24-28 inches, their animal group is Harem.


Predators and Population

Their natural predators are crocodiles, leopards, and eagles. There are about 7000-7300 Proboscis Monkeys left in the whole world.
